My Technology I would like to talk about is digital camcorders. Where they are what is considered a good camera and what is considered bad. I would talk about my experience with them, and what I find useful in a camera. I also would write about what other people think of camcorders out there. I will also mention how online groups help people get what they want out of the cheaper cameras like hv20.com.
I also might just write about guitar effects. Like where they are at, where they are going, and where they were. I would talk about what I own and what I like. I would also talk about the diffrent bands and if they are using new Technology or old "classic" technology. I will even talk about how computers have changed guitar effects by the way they record now.
I will write about one of these 2 topics...

I think both of these are good ideas. To make your decision you might ask yourself if one is more invested with impact on identity. For example, how do guitar effects allow people to perform, expand, explore their identities. Or, what associations are there with camcorder owners - parents, filmmakers, etc.
If you are still torn, you might want to come up with a thesis for each topic and share it with your group on Thur. Also, check for an email I sent you all about the assignment - it might help you narrow your topic.
