Some times I wish I was a digital immigrant. That way I could say I use my time to play guitar and not mess around with anything else like computers TV ext. However, I think that I am a digital native and I have been since the day I decided to build my first computer back when I was in high school. I figured it would be cheaper to build one then buy one. Ever since I built that computer I have been on the edge of technology and find myself buy the newest and latest things just to be on top. Wether it's on understanding how technology works "circuit boards ext,"or knowing HTML, C++, CSS ext. I just want to beable to know it all I guess.
Sometimes I run into a professor who is teaching me how to be a professional film person and they do not know how to run a DVD player. It's like they make movies but have no knowledge on how to play them. It is really sad and sometimes it makes me think why am I paying to go to school to get my film Degree and the Teachers need help with the computers, DVD players, and projectors. Anyways I guess overall I sometimes don't think I am real tech savvy. Although, when I really think abo

ut it I do know more then most my friends. Lets just say this, I am typing this on my new mac book pro while my iphone is in my pocket streaming music and video from my PC at home and my 1080 24p canon camcorder is sitting on my desk right next to me and my 160 gig ipod is in my backpack. It's really sad when you think about it.
